Detroit Dynasty Tryout Registration
Detroit Dynasty is looking for players who are ready to compete, learn, and be held to a high standard. Our program emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, player development, and continuous improvement. We also recognize that families balance many commitments, which is why we offer both scheduled tryouts and the ability to request a private evaluation when needed.
Tryout Information
Date: July 11, 2026
Location:
Ella Mae Power Park – Field #5
45175 W 10 Mile Rd
Novi, MI 48375
Tryout Schedule
10U & 11U: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Players should arrive 10–15 minutes before their scheduled tryout time to allow for check-in and warm-up.
Private Tryout Option
We understand that families often balance baseball with vacations, school, and other commitments. If the scheduled tryout date doesn’t work for your player, you may use this same registration process to request a private tryout.
Simply indicate that you’re requesting a private evaluation during registration, and a member of our coaching staff will contact you to coordinate a date and time.
Our goal is to provide every player who is interested in Detroit Dynasty a fair opportunity to be evaluated, regardless of scheduling conflicts.
What to Expect
Players will be evaluated on a variety of baseball and athletic skills, including:
* Hitting
* Fielding
* Throwing
* Running
* Position-specific skills
* Baseball instincts and game awareness
* Attitude, effort, and coachability
Our coaching staff is evaluating more than just baseball ability. We are looking for players who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, competitiveness, and a willingness to learn and be coached.
Possible Second-Day Evaluation
Following the July 11 tryout, some players may be invited back for an additional evaluation before final roster decisions are made.
Families should be aware that a second-day invitation may be part of the tryout process.
Families will be contacted after evaluations are complete regarding roster opportunities and next steps.
Tryout Guidelines
To help provide the best experience for all participants:
* Arrive early and ready to participate.
* Demonstrate effort, sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, coaches, and fellow participants.
* Parents and spectators are encouraged to support players from designated viewing areas.
* Coaching or instruction from parents during tryouts is not permitted so players can perform independently.
What Players Should Bring
Players should arrive prepared with:
* Glove
* Bat
* Batting helmet
* Water bottle
* Protective cup (recommended)
* Catcher’s gear (optional)
Catcher’s gear will be available for players who need it.
